The Big Gun Harness by Black Diamond is loaded with features to make your long days laboring in the vertical more comfortable and efficient. Organization of monster nailing racks is A1-simple on the Big Gun's seven color-coded gear loops. Two belay loops (color coded, as well) ensure simple, separate connections with daisies or a belay device, and the haul loop is rated to 12 kN. The bullhorn-shaped waistbelt (five inches wide in the crucial-to-comfort lumbar region) is constructed with ultra-luxurious thermoformed dual-density foam, and the leg loops are fully adjustable and removable-a must-have for fine-tuning fit over layers, scoring some solid zzz's on the portaledge or using the big-wall lavatory. "This is a freaking awesome harness!" |

| The harness is as comfortable as they come. Don’t get turned away by the size of the waist belt, it is uber-cushy and yet it doesn’t inhibit my climbing at all. If you end up hang-dogging on a new project, you will be glad that you strapped into the Big Gun. There are enough gear loops to carry just about anything you want to take up the wall with you. The dual belay loops give you options, and I haven’t felt like the waist belt is all that difficult to tighten. The first time I wore this harness, it felt really stiff. It only took a day of wear to loosen up and get the great feel it has now. The bottom line…. Buy this harness if you are looking for a comfy harness with options. | |

| Extremely useful on long routes. Actually it's the most comfortable harness I've ever used. But it worth to make automatic buckles like Beal or Petzl harnesses have. | |

"Nice Aid Harness" |

| This is a comfortable harness to wear while aid climbing. The extra-wide belt and leg loops are very comfortable, even on long hanging belays. The second belay loop is convenient, and it's a nice touch that they nest so there's less clutter up front when you only need one. And it has more gear loops than you can shake a stick at. The hammer holster is a little gimmicky, but if you don't already have one, it'll get you through. I do agree that the waist belt is a little difficult to tighten, but once you're in, it's as solid as it gets.Overall, I'm extremely pleased, and I'm looking forward to spending lots of time in it. | |

| Thing is really great. It is a little bit hard to tighten the waist up but other then that very nice. Very comfortable, i have fallen from heights trying some stuff that is out of my league and the landing is always nice and soft. | |

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK from Bob (7/6/10): Well, it was just like this. I have been shopping at Moosejaw.com for several years. I live in Buffalo, NY and I have spread the awesome ways of the Jaw to dozens of Buffalo-folk. I got a new girlfriend last year and she is nearly as crazy and awesome as I am. I bet she already emailed you guys about her experience at the Moosejaw store in the Clinton Township. She is the beautiful Kelly. Well we decided that a good end to our Fourth of July Weekend/Celebration of 'Merica would be a trip to one of your stores, a highlight on our list of Summer Goals. We made the 4.5 hour drive from Buffalo, through Canada, to Michigan and it could not have been more worth it. We excitedly ran up to the Moosejaw store, and entered, proclaiming our victoriousness. The shop was just as cool as the website. The worker was really nice and really knowledgeable of several things, including where out-of-towners should grab the best California Pizza that Michigan has to offer. There was another worker there, an older man with the heart of a child, who was even nicer, no easy task, who talked for us extensively about Michigan history, prospects of Moosejaw trekking closer to Buffalo, and other news. The store was very organized and aesthetically-pleasing, and I was immediately drawn to the wall of Moosejaw attire and items. We will definitely make another trip out there. Oh, I forgot to mention that the title of this daylong trip on July 5, 2010 that lasted from 7:30 am to 7:36 pm was "MOOSEJAUNT 2010." I doubt that even Moosejaw can top the titular awesomeness of this trip. If you want to put us on your next poster, I will completely understand. Thank you for all you do. Read all Customer Feedback

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK from Pamela (7/2/10): I was looking for a very specific pair of Chaco sandals to take to Costa Rica in mid-June. I was leaving the next day (nothing like last minute!!!) My husband called every store he could find in metro-Detroit that carried Chacos, but none had them until he called the Moosejaw in Auburn Hills. I think he spoke to Eric. Eric told him the computer showed one pair of exactly what I wanted at the warehouse, and he said he thought his boss was there. Could he call back in about 30 minutes? Eric called back and said they would be at the store later that day. I drove 60 minutes from Commerce Township for my shoes, they fit perfectly, and the people working at the store couldn't have been nicer. Even gave me a Moosejaw flag so I posted two pics of me in Costa Rica on Flickr (one after a canopy tour in rain forest, and the other by an active volcano - actually saw lava at night)!
